Job Summary:
The Network Security Engineer's objective is to support network security devices operation, maintenance and implementation in different regions. As a member of this team you must be available for after-hours critical escalations and project work.

Job Description:

• Supporting firewall gateway and large scale of firewall management (Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, Nokia)
• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of network security devices
• Handling change process, incidents and reports.
• Working knowledge of VPN settings, behaviour, and troubleshooting (non-vendor specific)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and behaviours through a network and specific devices (primarily firewalls) and OSI model (what occurs at each layer, and what devices operate at each layer)
• Knowledge of IPS (Juniper, Tipping point)

Qualified candidates MUST possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or computing or equivalent in education or experience required.
• 2-3 years of firewall administrator experience with technical knowledge of firewall appliances. (Nokia, Checkpoint, Solaris)
• 2 -3 years of hands on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining firewalls, IPS and VPN appliances.
• 2 -3 years implementing and troubleshooting site-to-site VPNs (IPSeC, etc.) and ability to explain hashing and encryption schemas
• Must have Check Point Firewall experience - architecture, support, installation, maintenance and monitoring is required.
• Expert TCP/IP packet analysis, using Wireshark or raw packet captures utilizing tcpdump utility.
• At least one major industry-related certification (CCSA, CCSE) preferred.
• Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to efficiently prioritize and organize competing work demands with little oversight.
• Able to travel overseas and standby (24x7) for technical issues.
• Able to work and support as a team for network project.
